In response to the "3060" target call of peak carbon dioxide emissions and carbon neutralization from the central government, the college and Shanghai Jiran Carbon Technology Co., Ltd. jointly established the "SJTU Lifelong Education College - Jiran Carbon Neutralization Research Center" (abbreviated as Carbon Neutralization Research Center).     Relying on the advantages of brand and resource from both parties, Carbon Neutrality Research Center brought together the resources from the government, universities, industry associations, leading enterprises, carbon trading platforms and financial institutions and jointly created a six-in-one service platform integrating "government, industry, university, research and finance" in the fields of peak carbon dioxide emissions and carbon neutrality. Carbon Neutrality Research Center focuses on industrial innovation in the fields of peak carbon dioxide emissions and carbon neutrality, technology application and talent training, provides "dual carbon" solutions for local governments, industrial parks and enterprises, and helps local governments, industrial parks and enterprises to accomplish the "dual carbon" mission.
